The CD-ROM and games are ideal for native Welsh speakers and learners.
The CD-ROM
This disc contains activities which will help children develop oral, reading and writing skills in Welsh. With graded activities for each month of the year children will learn vocabulary such as numbers, colours, animals, foods, time, weather, vehicles, toys and seasonal words.
It is also possible to hear the help in English or Welsh, choose from words which vary from North and South Wales and track a child’s progress.
Special features on the CD-ROM include:

- facility to create user groups
- printable activity reports for each group to track individuals' development
- facility to set the session length as required special 'click and stick' feature for the mouse to make some activities simpler for younger children
The Board Games
Six Welsh games in one box. The games provide an opportunity to practice their vocabulary on different themes and to ask and answer questions. The games provide an opportunity to gain and boost confidence in Welsh oral skills whilst enjoying and socialising.
The games introduce a vocabulary including foods, clothes, toys, the farm, parts of the body, colours, Christmas and others.
Playing the games the children are motivated to share and play together as well as encourage them to develop communication skills, to enhance personal and social interaction skills, to improve and extend their Welsh vocabulary, to drill and practice Welsh language patterns.
The games are:
- Game 1: Players must remember and recite a shopping list
- Game 2: A race to collect and name four theme cards
- Game 3: Collect pairs of cards as you race around the track
- Game 4: A question and answer game to create a robot
- Game 5: Recognise parts of the body to collect a whole robot
- Game 6: Snap card game with parts of the body or colours.
